EZ RIDE provides private transportation, airport transportation, scheduled rides, and related rider and driver services. This policy explains how information is collected, used, disclosed, and protected when you use the EZ RIDE mobile application and website.
EZ RIDE uses service providers that process information on our behalf, including Supabase for authentication and database services, Stripe for payments, Google services for maps, places, routes, and location functions, and Apple/Expo services for app distribution and push notifications. Their handling of information is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
Precise location is used to enable pickup, driver availability, navigation, route calculation, fare calculation, trip tracking, and safety-related ride functionality. Location is not used for cross-app advertising tracking.
Payment-card details are entered into Stripe's payment interface. EZ RIDE does not receive or store full card numbers or bank-account credentials. EZ RIDE may receive limited payment information such as payment status, card brand, last four digits, and Stripe identifiers.
Information may be shared with riders and drivers as necessary to complete a trip, with service providers that operate the platform, and with authorities or other parties when required by law, safety, fraud prevention, or the protection of legal rights. EZ RIDE does not sell personal information and does not use personal information for cross-app advertising tracking.
Information is retained for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain transaction and safety records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods may vary by data type and legal requirement.
You may request access, correction, or deletion of personal information, subject to legal, safety, fraud-prevention, and record-retention requirements. Account deletion may not immediately remove information that must be retained for completed trips, payments, disputes, or legal compliance.
EZ RIDE uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards. No electronic transmission or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
EZ RIDE is not directed to children under 13. Transportation accounts and bookings should be created and managed by an adult or otherwise used in accordance with applicable law.
This policy may be updated as the service changes. The effective date at the top of this page will be revised when material changes are published.
